Lisa Martin is an independent jewelry artist and designer. By trade, she is a professional chef working at the South Franklin Circle Retirement Community in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Born and raised in Geauga County, Lisa is currently living in Twinsburg with Mark and their son Aubrey.
Lisa’s creative bug bit when she was 13 years old and received her first drawing board. Twenty years later, a girlfriend handed her a box of beads and findings. In her words, “that’s all it took”. She calls her jewelry line “Stellar” because she feels we are each made of stars and are all quite stellar!
Her inspiration is two-fold. Her intention in each design is to give the wearer good vibes and brighten their mood. The earthy tones are reminiscent of her roots in Northeast Ohio and the turquoise and jasper elements stem from cherished travels to Arizona and New Mexico.
Most of her pieces include a star and circle representing femininity and positive energy. Each piece reflects her eclectic style, combining new and vintage materials. Lisa’s work has been featured at various galleries in Cleveland and Geauga County over the years. We are happy that she is currently exclusive to Artisans’ Corner Gallery.
