 A Wickliffe, Ohio native, John is a descendant of Leonardo Da Vinci. He received his Master of Fine Arts in Drawing/Painting at PIttsburgh (Kansas) State University in 1976, subsequently apprenticing under Master Artist Adolph Hertzfeld of Germany and studying at Cleveland Institute of Art.

Giovanni’s mixed media artwork exhibits striking images rendered with ornamental detail and colorful imagery which allow the viewer an ever-changing aesthetic exploration. Transforming overlooked objects of nature into things of beauty fuels his imagination.

Bocchieri firmly believes his artistic ability is a gift from God. Consequently, he is intentional in celebrating life and the unique wonders of creation.
