Frank and his wife Mary Lou moved to Chesterland 40 years ago to raise their family. They chose Chesterland because of its semi-rural nature and the amazing West Geauga School system.
Frank was always interested in art throughout his childhood and early adult life. He didn’t start drawing and painting seriously until much later in life, when he decided to take a beginners watercolor class at Valley Art Center in 1992. Since then Frank has attended several paint workshops with local artists. He has also taken some drawing and painting classes at Lakeland Community College.
Frank’s favorite media is watercolor, although he has acquired a deep interest in photography since he purchased a 35 MM camera to capture photos to use as a reference for his painting. With the advent of digital photography, Frank enjoys the instant gratification he gets with digital photography. He continues to paint and draw, but he has added digital photography and digital art to his interests
