Zen-Quilling workshop at Artisans’ Corner

Join us for a fun day of crafting a beautiful Fall project.  Several fall-themed designs are available for you to create using your choice of color and design.  We will begin by learning to develop some basic quilling shapes. All materials and tools included.  This workshop is limited to ten participants, so be sure to sign up today.  Here are a few examples for you, and just in case you need a little encouragement, the first photo of the pumpkin my very first attempt at quilling, ever.   Join me for fun and relaxing afternoon.  Hot Chocolate and coffee will be available for your enjoyment.

Paper quilling is a favorite crafting pastime but is by no means new. This paper art has existed since the invention of paper. Paper quilling is the art of cutting paper into long thin strips. Rolling and pinching the pieces into different shapes, and then gluing the shapes together to form decorative art.  Your imagination only limits the possibilities. The decorative pieces can be simple or complex, but one thing is for sure, paper quilling can be mastered in an hour or two.
