Here’s to another FIRST FRIDAY!! Join us on Friday, June 4th, 5-7 pm. This month we will be featuring the art of Larry and Sue Chaffee.

Married 52 years this creative couple has quite the body of work and endless experiences to share. Larry is a retired salesman and is enjoying his retirement since he can now concentrate full time on his arts and crafts. He began painting at age 11 and over the years has spread into mixed media and jewelry arts. His paper beads show his attention to detail, but wire wrapping is his true jewelry love. Sue is a retired art teacher and is well known in the Cleveland area as a landmark artist featuring pen and ink, watercolor, and mixed media. Susan Chaffee’s rise to “Ohio celebrity” status began in 1975 with the release of her first Gallery One print, Lawnfield. The subject of the print was the home and National Historic Site of James A. Garfield, 20th President of the United States. Sue has long been interested in the landmarks and history of Ohio. Her works are in many private and corporate collections, including those of National City Bank and Lake Erie College.

In addition, we will have live music featuring Joe Fagan on the piano.
