Rita Burns

My husband, Richard, and I became beachcombers in 2007.  We are inspired by the soft, worn surfaces of the little gems found on the beach.  The most cherished pieces are crafted into jewelry appreciated by women in Ohio, PA, Michigan and New York.  Lake Erie, with its rich naval and industrial past, has offered up lovely pieces of broken pottery, glassware, medicine bottles and art glass, polished by sand, water and waves; producing that dusty patina that is so appreciated by collectors.

Marc Blachman

OBLIQUE CREATIONS offers artistic expressions using wood and metal media from a fine art perspective.  Some characteristics of the art offered by OBLIQUE CREATIONS: Unique, one-of-a-kind creations.  Marc enjoys integrating the elements of wood, metal, fabric and creating unique art.  His work is created using complementary wood combinations, both domestic and exotic.  All wood aspects of the art pieces are created with the intent of highlighting the natural beauty that Mother Nature has provided.  Carving and “texturing” of the wood aspects are often used to complement and enhance the design.
